Language refers to the words we understand, use and the way they are combined to express meaning. Language can also include social use of language and how this differs depending on the contexts we find ourselves in.
We offer comprehensive language assessments and goal oriented, collaborative therapy for language delays and disorders.
-
Speech refers to the way we hear, make sense of and produce sounds when talking.
Concerned about speech clarity and intelligibility? We offer evidence based, dynamic speech assessments and intervention for children as well as for adults with dysarthric speech resulting from progressive neurological conditions.

Literacy is a complex skill comprised of many different areas, including:
phonological awareness;
phonemic awareness;
fluency;
vocabulary; and
comprehension.
We offer comprehensive assessment of each area of literacy competency and use evidence based, systematic interventions to support reading development.
We provide intervention, strategies and support for individuals and their families who have a diagnosed or suspected specific learning disorder in reading and writing (formerly known as dyslexia).
-
Voice refers to the way our voice is produced. It looks at how we use our breath to support healthy voice production, how our vocal folds create sound using the air flowing through them, and the way that our throat, mouth and nose shape that sound.
Soliloquy offers voice assessment and therapy to support vocal hygiene, rehabilitation following injury or trauma, as well as supporting communication over the course of progressive neurological conditions. We also offer gender affirming voice therapy.
-
Comprehensive assessment of fluency and evidence based therapy for smooth speech, and strategies to support empowerment and participation in daily life.
Fluency refers to the ease and smoothness of speech. Stuttering (or stammering, depending on which part of the world you live in) is the most common way in which speech fluency is disrupted.
